As we had problem to a rain water discharge pipe running along the building facade the Maintenance guys dig into the garden ground and in the proximity of the discharge pipe and they discovered that there was a drainage pit. This discover let us know that there is a certain number of water drainage pits all interconnected that, with time, have been covered with soil and embedded into the garden. Furthermore the pits are full of sand that must be removed. Now the Maintenance guy and the Gardener will have first to find all the drainage pits and then take the sand out. This will be quite a long job and will include the cutting of several plants to be able to find out where the drainage pits are as nobody does have any idea where the pits where originally located.
