New Terracotta Lamps for the Garden - Update 15 October 2019

We arrived at the test phase and two sample are in the garden for you to view. From Luke Cittadini:
"The moment of truth!!
We have the newly made terracotta garden lights on display in the garden along the walk way at building number 4. The 2 lamps are slightly different in design and slight colour.
Lamp 1: has the slightly shorter light slots and slightly narrower as well as a slight touch of green pigment.
Lamp 2: slightly longer light slots with no noticeable green pigment. Basically other than this slight change they are the same.
Please Note: you may see a very slight difference in size or angle of a shape. Please take into account that these are individually made by hand from visual checks (inspections). No moulds, Vernier's or slide rules are used
Please have a walk around especially in the evening to see the illumination of the lamps at night. Consider the slot sizes shapes and the colour of the lamps.
By the way cost for 1 terracotta lamp stand is THB 1600. Not bad for a totally hand made product in this day and age."

"Purely as a matter of interest see:
Picture 1: Note the sizes of the hand made lamps prior to entering the kiln to be fired. After firing (heat treatment) they shrink to the size
of the original ones we supplied from our garden. (in the picture on the left).

Last note. The kiln (oven) is large enough to accommodate 200 of this new style and size lamp and stand. I was very surprised to learn that the kiln is "wood fired" and not gas. How they manage to control the temperature and constant heating during the process is incredible."
