New Terracotta Lamps for the Garden

For quite a long time most of the original and broken terracotta lights have been removed and substituted by a PVC black pipe with a lamp mounted on top. We have been thinking for years that nowadays it was impossible to find a company that was still making these kind of lamps. But today, 9 August 2019, during our monthly Committee Meeting Luke Cittadini came out with three different companies from different part of Thailand that are actually still manufacturing terracotta lamps. It was thanks to him and his girlfriend, that did the investigation and went upcountry to visit the factories, that was possible to get pictures of some samples of the lamps and the price. The Committee is now discussing how to proceed but it seems likely that the beauty of the terracotta lamps will be lighting again our garden.
