Internet wiring and the Fiber Optic option.

It has been known for years that our internet connection wiring is not as good as it looks. Moving to the Fiber Optic and re-wiring everything from scratch would be the best choice but we have to remember that there are other maintenance jobs which have a higher priority. However, there is one Committee Member that has been in contact with 3BB for some months discussing the transition of our condominium into a 100% Fiber Optic. Let's wait and see what will be the outcome.

Good news that something is being done about this.

A few years ago, when we switched to TMN cable we were told they were going to sort out all the wireing and everyting was going to be labled and organized, obviousely this never happened. If 3BB is getting in we need to make sure what is promised actually happens.

Dear Patric,

The Fiber Optic issue was taken to the Committee attention by a Committee Member that committed himself to take care if the job. That was around the first days of July and the topic was recorded in the MoM of 14 July 2021. It was again discussed during the Committee meeting of 10 September 2021, two months after the first discussion during which time nothing was done, but till now we do not have any information on the status of this job.

Obviously if we put in place brand new cables they should be properly labelled. That was Massimo’s idea when discussing the Fiber Optic with him in the past. But as Massimo is not in charge of…
